The mission of the Asia-Pacific Inter-faith Network is, to promote dialogue and foster mutual understanding, respect, and  collaboration between the followers of the various world religions.

APIN's goal is to promote respectful dialogue and peaceful coexistence between religious communities in the Asia-Pacific region, thus enhancing mutual understanding and friendly relations in each country and within the region.

 

APIN aims to:

 

-  provide leadership, coherence and direction to the initiatives and involvements already occurring in the Asia-Pacific region;

-  make a sustained intellectual contribution to the furtherance of inter-religious dialogue;

- promote international research in inter-religious dialogue and co-operation;

- serve as a resource for interfaith organisations and committees in the Asia-Pacific region with regard to inter-religious dialogue;

- develop co-operative links with non-government organisations working in the area of interfaith relations.
